One common thread I have seen while meeting new veterans is that most of us have a creative outlet. Across branches, ages, and experiences, so many of us turn to crafting as a way to express ourselves, stay grounded, and stay connected.
That’s why I’m so proud to introduce a brand-new section of the store:
Handmade by Veterans
This space is dedicated to showcasing crafts, goods, and artwork made by veterans from all walks of life. Every item tells a story. Every piece supports a veteran. And every purchase directly helps a creator in our community continue doing what they love.
Meet Our First Featured Veteran: Dana Paul

To kick off this new section, Dana Paul, a United States Marine Corps veteran who I met sometime around last spring in our women veterans group here in New Jersey.
Dana is one of those people who shows up not just with words, but with heart. She is involved in the veteran community and is known for checking in on others, uplifting fellow vets, and being a steady presence when people need it most.
One of Dana’s greatest passions is making jewelry, a craft that allows her to pour patience, care, and intention into each piece. This quarter, we’re honored to feature her handmade jewelry in the shop from carefully designed earrings to meaningful bracelets that reflect her personality and spirit.
Every item is made by hand.
Every purchase supports a veteran artist.
And every piece carries a story of resilience and connection.
Why “Handmade by Veterans” Matters
This new section isn’t just about selling products, it’s about creating opportunities. Veterans often face unique challenges after service, and creative outlets can be both healing and empowering. Many veterans create quietly, in their homes, without a platform or audience.
I want to change that.
I want to give veterans a space to be seen, supported, and celebrated.
This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to bring more talented veteran creators into the spotlight.
Thank You for Supporting Veteran Creators
Whether you shop, share, or simply follow along, you’re helping build something meaningful. Your support makes space for veterans to grow, heal, and thrive outside of service and gives them a new purpose.
Stay tuned for more featured veterans, more handmade goods, and more stories worth telling.
And don’t forget to check out Dana’s jewelry collection, live now in the shop!
